For the manufacture of Oak barrels, we use oak from the Eastern Europe. The wood was naturally aged by the weather as the stave wood was stored in tiers, exposed to air and water. These barrels are hand crafted in Europe by skilled coopers using traditional coopering method which is transmitted from generation to generation for several hundreds of years.

My father is a cooper in third generation. Our oak barrels can be used for ageing different types of alcohol: WHISKEY, WINE, CIDER, BEER, BRANDY, SPIRITS. The barrels were charred TOASTED inside over wood fire. Each barrel comes complete with oak barrel stand, tap and stopper.

Hoop type is stainless steel. Fill up the barrel with hot boiling water and leave it for 48 hours. After 48 hours pour out the water from the tap. Barrel is ready to use.

Do not leave the barrel without liquid after that. You may find that the barrel will leak slightly when you first fill it with water-this is perfectly normal and you will need to fill up the barrel with hot water again and wait till oak swell. This is because there is no glue used in the joints of the barrel. We offer barrels from 1 litre to 100 litres.
