Hand Carved Made Wooden Bamboo Root Ethnic Man Garden Bird House Nest Box
An excellent Fair Trade Bamboo Root Ethnic Man Bird House. The bird house is hand-carved in Indonesia from the Root of the Giant Bamboo, in a family based workshop. The Giant Bamboo is plantation grown and highly productive - a 50 foot bamboo pole, once harvested, can re-grow in 50 days. The house is made using the Root, or Culm, taken from the base of the Bamboo poles after harvesting. Sizes and Weights are approximate.
Please Note: The bamboo root itself will vary in design and will also be prickly. The Bird houses are also made using two sections fixed together, this is normal. PLEASE NOTE: ALL ITEMS ARE HAND-MADE USING BASIC HAND TOOLS SUCH AS CHISELS, ETC, BY SMALL OUTLETS AND FAMILIES IN MAINLY INDONESIA AND THAILAND. DUE TO THE HAND-CRAFTED NATURE OF THE PRODUCT, WOOD GRAIN AND COLOUR MAY DIFFER SLIGHTLY AS ALL ITEMS ARE INDIVIDUALLY HAND-CARVED.
