1930s Original reclaimed/ antique Wooden'Hardwood' French doors. Carefully removed by professional installers.
Pre-owned and has been previously installed. Odd faint/ light mark in places, but nothing exactly noticeable. There is residual mastic at the edges of the frame which could be removed, but would be hidden with trim when installed. Not bowed or rotted at all.
Crack in the glass at the top. Some screw holes and scratches on both doors, can be painted over and signs of aging. Please see last photo/s relating to the defects. There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible. The colour externally is Woodgrain White and internally Slate Grey RAL7015, but could easily be stripped down if you wanted the original wood grain showing.
Has Silver hinges with White handles. When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the Left.
There are no exterior handles, so they can only be opened/ locked from the inside- this offers higher security and gives a more aesthetically pleasing appearance externally. There is no real locking system in place apart from a small lift over latch on the inside of the doors. Glazing is original, single glazed and Clear. Has Georgian Bars externally & internally over the glazing, giving a high-quality appearance. These cannot be removed, so if you required completely clear glass, you would need to replace all the units. Ideal if you're after some high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more. Ref No: 1AL3-23-11-3 (U11 C8 MB).
