Rustic handmade crate/cage topper made to order, all toppers are made using reclaimed 3x2 timber. The timber is cleaned planed and sanded but still keeping that classic rustic look and feel. Each topper is made with a lip all the way around to stop any slipping and any items rolling off the top.

All toppers are made to order and each one has its own imperfections and grain pattern, making no two the same. We stain each topper using a high quality wood stain this really brings the grain pattern in the timber, Once the stain is dry we then coat the toppers in a satin varnish (not glossy gives a nice mid sheen finish) This helps protect the timber from staining and gives it a longer life. These toppers are stained in a natural oak colour and just look fantastic, and turn that crate into a great useful solid piece of furniture.
