We hand make each American flag to order, making each piece unique and one of a kind! We try to give our flags a rustic/distressed look by torching the wood and using individual boards. Although we try our best to have every piece of wood flush with the next, this isn't always the case.

The natural beauty of rustic wood is what gives our product its character. Please keep in mind when using real wood, there is shrinkage. It is a natural material, not plastic.

If you plan on hanging your flag outside, or would like to help protect it from scratches, we recommend adding a Polycrylic protective finish. As long as the flag is covered and not exposed to the elements 100% of the time, the protective finish should help resist mold, mildew, insects, etc. If the flag is placed outside without any overhead cover, we cannot guarantee that it will fully withstand the elements.
