Decorative hand made wooden box mulberry & purpleheart

For sale is a handmade wooden box, constructed from mulberry and purpleheart. This was made by Robert Kerwin in 2001. His work is fantastic and I will be listing a number of his unique boxes. Like most of Robert's boxes, this was made from a single block of wood.

This box was custom made for me by Robert from a portion of a mulberry tree from my backyard. When the mulberry wood was fresh, it was bright yellow. As time goes by, and it's exposed to light, it becomes darker.

You can see that in the back of the drawer that is still a nice, bright yellow.
