High quality Wooden'Timber' back door. Bespoke made by a professional joinery company to a very high standard.
The door thickness is 5.6cm compared to the standard factory 4.4cm. Carefully removed by professional installers. Pre-owned and has been previously installed. Excellent/ very clean condition both sides. Not bowed or rotted at all.
A few light marks and some very small scratches to the exterior and edge next to the handle. A couple of scratches to the paint on the interior around the handle and on the bottom panel. Please see last photo/s relating to the defects.
There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible. The colour externally is White and internally Slate Grey RAL7015, but could easily be stripped down if you wanted the original wood grain showing Has Brushed Stainless Steel hinges with Brushed Stainless Steel handles. Previously installed to open outwards to the left when being opened from the outside.
There is a lip around the edge of the door which falls into the frame, so can only operate as mentioned above. The measurements taken are of the widest part of the door. The door has a single central'Union' lock as well as top and bottom internal bolt locks making it very secure. The internal bolt locks come with an'ERA' key however the main lock doesn't have a key so will need to be replaced.
Glazing is 24mm thick Double Glazed, Clear, toughened with Metal silver spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon Gas for extra efficiency. There is no condensation occurring inside the pane/s. Ideal if you're after a high quality wooden back door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more. Ref No: 1AL3-25-02-1 (U1 D3).
