Canoe handmade wooden canoe 1940

This is my fathers canoe; made in France in 1940, it is an impressive piece of woodwork. It has been dry stored all its life and I can't see any rot but all the old varnish has come off and the wood is dried out. It has the original seats, oars and floor pieces (not in pictures). It needs a skilled restoration to return it to its best.
